EKODAQ General Manager

Since 2005, ICD has supplied enterprise servers, storage, networking parts and data centre maintenance to businesses in Egypt, the Gulf, Africa and beyond.

Organisations retiring servers, storage and laptops need proof that their data is gone and that their equipment is handled responsibly. EKODAQ, ICD Group's IT asset disposition arm, provides that assurance, and its General Manager leads the business end to end.

• Own EKODAQ's strategy, annual plan and commercial results.
• Win and grow ITAD and data sanitisation customers among enterprises, government bodies, banks and integrators.
• Lead operations so every asset is collected, logged, sanitised, tested and reported with a full chain of custody.
• Set sanitisation methods and evidence in line with recognised standards such as NIST SP 800-88 and IEEE 2883.
• Build the certifications and audit readiness customers ask for, with the Quality HSE and Certifications Manager.
• Coordinate reuse, resale and recycling routes with ICD sales, sourcing and the Data Protection Officer.
• Lead, hire and develop the EKODAQ team and its partners.
• Report performance, risks and pipeline to the CEO every month.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, business or a related field.
• At least 10 years in IT services, ITAD, data centre operations or IT distribution, including five years in general or business-unit management.
• Hands-on understanding of data sanitisation, chain of custody and IT asset lifecycle processes.
• A record of winning B2B service contracts with enterprise or government customers.
• Experience building processes for audits and customer certifications.
• Strong leadership, commercial and reporting skills.

• Experience with R2v3, e-Stewards, NAID AAA or ISO/IEC 27001 programmes.
• Knowledge of e-waste regulations in Egypt, the GCC or Kenya.
• Experience with Blancco or similar data erasure software.
• An MBA or equivalent.

Fluent English and Arabic.

Regular travel to customer sites across ICD's markets, up to 30% of working time.
