Installation Service Scope

• Physical installation including unpacking, rack mounting with proper rail kits, cable management for power and network connectivity, and labeling per your data center standards
• Hardware configuration covering BIOS/UEFI settings, RAID array creation, iDRAC/iLO/XCC management interface setup, firmware updates to vendor-recommended levels, and hardware health verification
• Operating system deployment for Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMware ESXi, Ubuntu Server, and other enterprise operating systems with driver installation and initial patching
• Network integration including IP addressing, VLAN configuration, bonding/teaming for redundancy, management network setup, and connectivity verification with your existing infrastructure
• Documentation and handoff providing a complete deployment record including hardware configuration, network topology, credentials, and test results delivered to your operations team

Installation Process

1. Pre-Installation Planning: ICD engineers review your deployment requirements, rack layout, power capacity, cooling, and network availability. We identify any prerequisites that must be completed before the installation date.
2. Hardware Preparation: Servers are unpacked, inspected, and pre-configured in our Cairo facility when possible. BIOS settings, firmware updates, and RAID configurations are applied before arriving at your site to minimize on-site time.
3. On-Site Installation: Our engineers physically install the servers, complete cabling, verify power redundancy, and bring systems online. Each server is tested for hardware health, network connectivity, and management access before proceeding to the next unit.
4. Commissioning and Handoff: Operating systems are deployed, initial configurations applied, and production readiness verified. Your team receives complete documentation and a walkthrough of the deployed infrastructure.
