ICD-SF Strategic Lead

Since 2005, ICD has supplied enterprise servers, storage, networking parts and data centre maintenance to businesses in Egypt, the Gulf, Africa and beyond.

The ICD Standards Foundation (ICD-SF) carries ICD's work beyond its commercial business through international outreach. Its Strategic Lead runs the foundation day to day and works with its board to turn its direction into results.

• Run ICD-SF's day-to-day operations, plans and administration.
• Prepare the annual programme and budget for board approval, and report progress against them.
• Work with the board to plan and deliver international outreach.
• Build relationships with industry bodies, academic institutions and international partners.
• Organise board meetings, papers, minutes and follow-up actions.
• Manage the foundation's communications, publications and events.
• Ensure ICD-SF's governance, records and reporting meet the applicable legal requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in business, public policy, engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience, including leadership roles in associations, foundations, standards bodies or international programmes.
• Experience working with a board and managing a programme budget.
• A record of building international partnerships and outreach.
• Excellent writing, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with technical standards or industry certification programmes.
• A background in the IT or data centre industry.
• A postgraduate degree in management or public policy.

Fluent English and Arabic; French is an advantage.

Regular international travel for outreach and events, up to 30% of working time.
