Kenya Country Manager

Since 2005, ICD has supplied enterprise servers, storage, networking parts and data centre maintenance to businesses in Egypt, the Gulf, Africa and beyond.

ICD's Nairobi branch serves enterprises, government and integrators in Kenya with server, storage and networking parts and services. The Kenya Country Manager leads that business and makes ICD the partner customers call first.

• Own the Kenya business plan, revenue targets and pipeline.
• Lead the Kenya account and operations team, setting goals and coaching performance.
• Build relationships with enterprise, government, system integrator and reseller customers.
• Lead responses to tenders and requests for quotation in Kenya.
• Coordinate with sourcing, logistics and customs so deliveries arrive on time and comply with Kenyan import rules.
• Develop local partners for third-party maintenance and ITAD services.
• Keep the branch compliant with Kenyan employment, tax and data protection requirements, including the Data Protection Act 2019.
• Report performance and market insight to the Africa Regional Director each month.

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or a related field.
• At least eight years in enterprise IT sales or distribution in Kenya, including three years managing a team or branch.
• Strong relationships with IT buyers, integrators and resellers in Kenya.
• Sound knowledge of servers, storage and networking.
• Experience with public procurement and tenders in Kenya.
• Commercial leadership, negotiation and reporting skills.

• Experience across East African markets such as Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda or Ethiopia.
• Experience with third-party maintenance or ITAD services.
• Familiarity with KRA eTIMS invoicing and Kenyan import procedures.
• Experience with ERPNext or a similar CRM or ERP.

Fluent English; Kiswahili is an advantage.

Regular travel within Kenya and East Africa, up to 30% of working time.
