Supplier Quality Specialist

Customers trust ICD to deliver parts that are genuine, tested and exactly as described, and that trust starts with the suppliers we choose. This specialist checks, rates and develops ICD's suppliers so that quality problems are prevented, not just fixed.

• Run supplier qualification: company checks, origin verification, references, warranty terms and sample testing before approval.
• Define incoming inspection criteria with the service centre for authenticity, condition grading and packaging.
• Investigate counterfeit, mislabelled or faulty parts, document findings with photos and test logs, and manage corrective actions with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier scorecards in the ERP based on defect rates, RMA history, accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Recommend approval, probation or removal of suppliers to the Head of Global Sourcing.
• Support supplier RMAs and claims so that faulty stock is credited or replaced.
• Keep supplier quality records ready for customer and certification audits.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years in supplier quality, incoming inspection or quality assurance for electronics or IT hardware.
• Knowledge of counterfeit-avoidance practices and condition grading for used and refurbished parts.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and corrective action (8D or similar).
• Clear, factual reporting and confident communication with suppliers in English.

• ISO 9001 internal auditor certificate.
• Knowledge of AS6081 or similar counterfeit-mitigation standards.
• CompTIA Server+ or hands-on hardware testing experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Fluent Arabic and professional English, spoken and written; French is an advantage.

Occasional international travel for supplier audits.
