Customers come to ICD for exact part numbers that are often hard to find, and the buyer is the person who finds them. Fast, accurate buying from trusted suppliers in the US, the UK and Europe is what lets ICD quote with confidence and deliver on time.

• Source exact OEM part numbers for servers, storage and networking (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, IBM, NetApp) from approved suppliers in the US, the UK and Europe.
• Send requests for quotation, compare offers on condition, warranty, lead time and supplier reliability, and recommend the best option.
• Negotiate commercial terms, delivery dates and warranty with suppliers within approved authority.
• Raise and manage purchase orders in the ERP and follow them through to receipt in the warehouse.
• Verify supplier origin, condition grading (new, refurbished, used) and part authenticity before purchase.
• Work with logistics on shipping routes, Incoterms and consolidation to the service centre.
• Handle supplier RMAs and claims for faulty or incorrect parts with the quality team.
• Keep supplier records and performance notes current and identify new qualified sources.

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain or a related field.
• At least 3 years buying IT hardware, electronic components or technical spare parts internationally.
• Strong understanding of server, storage and networking part numbers and condition grades.
• Proven negotiation and supplier communication skills in English.
• Working knowledge of Incoterms and international payment methods.
• Confident use of an ERP and spreadsheets.

• CIPS Level 4 or an equivalent procurement qualification.
• Experience with brokers and refurbishers in the secondary IT hardware market.
• Experience with ERPNext or a similar ERP.

Professional English, spoken and written; Arabic or French is an advantage.

Occasional international travel to supplier sites and trade events.
