Project Manager

Since 2005, ICD has supplied enterprise servers, storage, networking parts and data centre maintenance to businesses in Egypt, the Gulf, Africa and beyond.

Large customer orders, data centre refreshes and multi-site deliveries involve many parts, suppliers and dates that must come together at once. The Project Manager gives these projects one clear plan and one accountable owner from the first request to final sign-off.

• Plan customer projects end to end: scope, bill of materials, milestones, risks and responsibilities, using the ERP as the single record.
• Run kick-off meetings with sales, presales, procurement and operations, and agree the delivery plan with the customer.
• Track sourcing, shipping, testing and configuration of every line item against the project timeline.
• Coordinate installation and field engineering activity with customers' IT teams and data centre access rules.
• Manage changes to scope or dates through a clear change process and keep all parties informed.
• Report progress, issues and risks to the customer and to ICD management on a regular schedule.
• Close projects with complete delivery records, serial-number lists and customer acceptance, and capture lessons learned.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or business.
• At least 5 years managing IT infrastructure, hardware delivery or data centre projects.
• Working knowledge of servers, storage and networking components.
• Proven planning, risk management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Confident use of project tools, spreadsheets and an ERP.

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
• Experience delivering projects for enterprise or government customers in the Middle East or Africa.

Fluent Arabic and professional English, spoken and written; French is an advantage.

Up to 25% regional travel across the Middle East and Africa.
