Kenya Operations & Logistics Officer

Since 2005, ICD has supplied enterprise servers, storage, networking parts and data centre maintenance to businesses in Egypt, the Gulf, Africa and beyond.

ICD's Nairobi branch serves customers across Kenya, and they expect enterprise parts to arrive on time and fully documented. This role keeps orders, imports and last-mile deliveries moving smoothly on the ground.

• Coordinate customer orders for Kenya from confirmation to delivery, keeping the ERP updated at each step.
• Work with ICD's procurement and logistics teams in Cairo and Dubai to plan inbound shipments to Nairobi.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and clearing agents on import documents, duties and clearance through Kenyan customs.
• Receive, inspect and store incoming parts, checking part numbers and serial numbers against shipping documents.
• Arrange local deliveries and collections, including returns (RMA), and obtain signed proof of delivery.
• Keep accurate local stock records and support periodic stock counts.
• Report on shipment status, delays and costs to the Kenya Country Manager.

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years in logistics, operations or import coordination in Kenya.
• Working knowledge of Kenyan import procedures and documentation.
• Strong organisation and accuracy with documents, part numbers and stock records.
• Confident use of email, spreadsheets and business systems.

• Experience with IT or electronics shipments.
• Familiarity with the Kenya Revenue Authority customs systems.
• Experience with ERPNext or a similar ERP.
• CIPS or a recognised logistics certificate.

Professional English, spoken and written; Kiswahili is an advantage.

Regular local travel within Nairobi; occasional travel within Kenya.
