Who we are
Since 2005, ICD has supplied enterprise servers, storage, networking parts and data centre maintenance to businesses in Egypt, the Gulf, Africa and beyond.
Why this role matters
ICD serves customers in English, Arabic and French, and they expect product pages and guides that are accurate and easy to read in their own language. This writer turns technical information about servers, storage and services into clear, trustworthy content in all three.
What you will do
- Write and edit product, category and service pages for icd3s.com in English, Arabic and French, based on verified OEM specifications.
- Create buying guides, compatibility explainers and articles on topics such as server upgrades, TPM and secure data disposition.
- Adapt content between languages naturally rather than literally, keeping technical terms and part numbers exact.
- Apply the SEO brief for each page: keywords, headings, meta descriptions and FAQ content, in coordination with the SEO specialist.
- Write LinkedIn posts, email newsletters and brochure copy in ICD's tone of voice.
- Maintain a multilingual glossary and style guide for consistent terminology.
- Check every text against ICD's quote-only policy and never publish prices, costs or customer names without approval.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in languages, translation, journalism, communications or a related field.
- At least 3 years writing professional content in at least two of English, Arabic and French, with strong working ability in the third.
- A portfolio of published B2B, technical or product content.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and explain them simply.
- Working knowledge of SEO writing and WordPress.

- Background or strong interest in IT hardware or data centres.
