NetApp E-X4130A 10TB 7.2K RPM NL-SAS 12Gb/s FDE FIPS 3.5in LFF hard drive for the NetApp E-Series DE460C 60-drive drawer shelf. NetApp PN 108-00629. The drive inside is a Western Digital Ultrastar DC HC510 (He10) helium HDD, model HUH721010AL5205 (TCG-Enterprise self-encrypting, FIPS 140-2 Level 2 validated under NIST CMVP cert #4011, 512e, 256MB cache), with NetApp firmware and the NetApp-specific WD P/N 0F27381. Specs: 10TB capacity, 7,200 RPM, SAS-3 12Gb/s, 3.5in form factor, 5V 0.80A / 12V 0.73A. Compatibility: the NetApp price list places it in the DE460C shelf. That shelf is the enclosure of the E2860, E5760 and E4060 controller-drive shelves and of the DE460C expansion shelves behind E-Series and EF-Series controllers. Resellers also list StorageGRID SG5760, SG5860, SG6000, SG6060 and SG6160 expansion, but NetApp has not confirmed this. The drive is FRU-locked: E-Series controllers accept only NetApp-firmware drives. An FDE/FIPS drive is needed to replace a failed drive in a secured (Drive Security enabled) volume group or pool.
