7080094 Oracle Storagetek T10000D Tape Drive with SL3000/SL4000 Tray

Oracle StorageTek T10000D (T10KD) enterprise half-inch tape drive supplied as a complete drive module in the SL3000/SL4000 drive tray, Oracle P/N 7080094. Capacity 8.0 TB native per T10000 T2 cartridge (8.5 TB with the Max Capacity feature enabled), approximately 21.25 TB at 2.5:1 compression, with a 252 MB/s native sustained data rate — the fastest and highest-capacity drive of the StorageTek T10000 family. Host interface is 16 Gb Fibre Channel, backward compatible with 8 Gb and 4 Gb FC fabrics, using a long-wavelength SFP rated to 20 km. Features a 2 GB data buffer, GMR read/write heads, optional AES data encryption, Data Integrity Validation (DIV), StorageTek Direct Copy, File Access Accelerator, MIR Assisted Search, and Tape Tiering Accelerator partitioning (up to 600 logical volumes per cartridge). Load-to-ready 13 seconds, average file access 62.5 seconds, maximum rewind 97 seconds. This tray variant is built for the StorageTek SL3000 Modular Library System (up to 56 T10000 drives) and the StorageTek SL4000 Modular Library System; it is NOT the SL8500 tray variant (7042136 / 7081256 / 7105797) and NOT the rackmount variant. FICON-attached mainframe environments require the separate FICON PN (7105798 / 7105810). Not supported in L-series or 9310 libraries. Oracle has ended production of the StorageTek T10000 drive family and T10K media sales ended 15 March 2021 — this is a secondary-market / end-of-life platform, supplied tested with ICD warranty.
