Compatibility
Direct drop-in replacement for PowerEdge R740 and R740XD. Not compatible with R740XD2, which uses a different board. After a system board replacement the Service Tag must be restored via Easy Restore, and BIOS boot entries must be rebuilt because boot order is stored in board NVRAM. The TPM module and the Mini PERC interposer are separate parts and must be transferred from the original board.
