HPE ProLiant Support in the UAE Once HPE Steps Away
UAE hospitality groups, aviation services and free-zone operators run some of the densest HPE estates in the region, much of it DL360 and DL380 Gen9 and Gen10 commissioned during the 2016 to 2020 expansion. HPE's support calendar has already retired the Gen9 half of that. The workloads — property management systems, ground handling, logistics platforms — have not moved.
The contract lapse hits firmware before hardware
HPE gates Service Pack for ProLiant behind an active entitlement. For a UAE operator this often surfaces during an audit or a security review rather than an outage: the estate cannot be patched to current firmware, and that becomes a documented finding. ICD cannot restore an HPE entitlement, and we say so plainly; what we do is keep the hardware supplied and supported so the estate is not also failing on parts.
Shipping HPE parts into the Emirates
Two to three days from Cairo stock, clearing at Jebel Ali or Dubai Airport free zone. Because spares move against an existing asset the documentation is lighter than a new server import. For operators holding bonded stock in a free zone we ship into the zone directly, which takes customs out of the outage timeline altogether.

Smart Array P408i, P816i and E208i controllers with cache modules and batteries, DDR4 RDIMM and LRDIMM matched by ProLiant generation, SAS and NVMe drives in genuine HPE carriers, redundant PSUs, fans, and MSA 2040 and 2050 components. Everything is tested and serial-verified before dispatch with one to three years of warranty.
Mixed estates during consolidation
UAE consolidation projects rarely retire one brand cleanly. HPE ProLiant usually sits beside Dell PowerEdge and some Cisco UCS through the whole cutover, all of it needing to stay alive. ICD covers all of them under one agreement rather than three.
