The Most Actionable Notice an Estate Ever Receives

Swiss organisations keep enterprise hardware in service longer than most, which makes one particular vendor communication far more important here than elsewhere: the final-availability notice. It states that after a given date a component can no longer be ordered new through any authorised channel. For an estate intended to run another five years, that notice is a deadline for a decision about the entire remaining life of the platform.
