Cisco Memory in UAE
Across Dubai Internet City, Dubai South and Abu Dhabi’s KIZAD and Masdar zones, UAE enterprises are consolidating onto dense Cisco UCS platforms where memory capacity directly drives VM consolidation ratios and in-memory database scale. A mis-specified DIMM does not just underperform — on UCS it can force the whole node to a slower clock or fail validation outright. ICD supplies genuine Cisco UCS memory into the Emirates through its Dubai inbound route, matched to the exact PID, with free-zone delivery into the major data-centre campuses.
Cisco UCS memory we carry
From DDR4 RDIMM and LRDIMM for M5/M6 fleets to DDR5 for M7/M8 and the X-Series compute nodes, the catalogue covers the full UCS estate. For Emirati deployments scaling consolidation, high-capacity DDR5 parts are in demand — the Cisco 128GB DDR5 RDIMM 4800MHz 4Rx4 Memory for X-Series nodes and the Cisco 16GB DDR5 RDIMM 6400MHz 1Rx8 Memory for the latest Xeon 6 M8 servers.
| PID | Capacity | Type / speed | Fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| UCSX-MR128G4RE1 | 128GB | DDR5 RDIMM 4800 4Rx4 | UCS X210c/X410c M7 |
| MRX16G1RE5 | 16GB | DDR5 RDIMM 6400 1Rx8 | UCS M8 Xeon 6 |
| MR-X64G2RT-H | 64GB | DDR4 RDIMM 2933 2Rx4 | UCS C-Series M5/M6 |
| UCSX-MRX16G1RE1 | 16GB | DDR5 RDIMM 4800 1Rx8 | UCS X-Series M7 |
Matching DDR5 speed to the platform
DDR5 on UCS introduces a subtlety worth flagging for high-density UAE builds: a DIMM’s rated speed and its achieved speed are not the same thing. A 6400MHz DDR5 module on an M8 Xeon 6 node runs at 6400 only when DIMMs-per-channel and the CPU’s memory controller support it; populate two DIMMs per channel and the bus may step down. A 4800MHz module is the right baseline for many M7 configurations. Mixing 4800 and 6400 parts forces the slower clock fleet-wide. The same non-mixing discipline applies between RDIMM and LRDIMM, and DDR4 modules will not seat in a DDR5 slot — generation, speed and rank must all line up. For maximum capacity per node, plan a single homogeneous kit sized to the server’s validated maximum.
Delivery across the Emirates
ICD consolidates UAE-bound hardware via its Dubai inbound route and delivers into the free zones — Dubai Internet City, Dubai South, KIZAD and Abu Dhabi sites — with the customs leg handled. Cisco memory ships serial-traceable and warranty-backed, ready for the maintenance window rather than stuck at a conformity checkpoint.
