If you are extending an existing 512e array, ask us for the 512e capacity SKU instead — we will confirm the exact firmware level your UCSM bundle expects before anything ships.

Self-encrypting drives for UAE compliance work

UAE government, banking and healthcare workloads frequently call for data-at-rest encryption. The 1.8 TB HD18TB10KS4K is a hardware SED — encryption runs on the drive controller, so there is no host CPU penalty and the keys can be managed through UCSM or an external KMIP server.
